Classroom website - www.jessledbetter.pbworks.com This is a website designed for families affected by autism. Most resources related to young children, preschool aged. I believe that my role as a preschool teacher extends beyond my students to educate families about effective strategies to use at home.
Special Education Team Leadership website - spedteamleadership.pbworks.com I developed this wiki during my dissertation research to improve outcomes for special education teachers and their paraeducators. Resources include tips to improve teacher leadership as well as resources to improve team communication about expectations for collaboration and effective interactions in the classroom.
Autism Resource website - www.autism4schools.pbworks.com This is a website for any K-8 teacher who is planning a student lesson about diversity, autism, and disability awareness. The site contains videos, lesson ideas, and other resources for different age groups of students. I developed the website for teachers at my previous school when I used to coordinate an annual "Dress Down for Diversity Day" to fundraise for the autism walk each year. (I no longer coordinate this fundraiser because students in my current school do not wear uniforms.)
New Teacher Induction website - www.gesdinduction.pbworks.com I developed this wiki for early career special education teachers in my previous district, Glendale Elementary School District. Resources include important information about instructional practices, special education law, best practices, assessment, and collaboration. This wiki is no longer updated, but continues to offer resources to improve outcomes for new teachers.
